Before you begin…

  • Check out this article in our Knowledge Base to make sure you’ve completed all required prerequisites.

Connecting Sisu and BoomTown

  1. In Sisu, go to Admin > Integration Hub.

  2. Click the BoomTown 2.0 tile. This opens the integration setup window.

  3. Click Next.

  4. Scroll down to the BoomTown Configuration heading and click the BT Connect button.

  5. Under the Activities heading, review the following settings and change them as desired:

    • Create Sisu lead measure activities from BoomTown usage—If you enable this setting, certain actions in the BoomTown Lead Profile cause Activity counts in Sisu to increase by 1. Also, BoomTown-specific activities, like "Boomtown Emails" and "Boomtown Showings," are tracked in Sisu once you enable this setting.

Note: For specifics on the BoomTown processes that trigger Sisu Activities, check out this article in our Knowledge Base.

      • Update Sisu activities on the BoomTown contact categories—If you want your actions in BoomTown to count toward Activities in Sisu, the lead must be in one of the categories specified in this setting. For this setting to function, you must enable the setting above ("Create Sisu lead measure activities from BoomTown usage").

  6. Under the Transaction heading, review the following settings and change them as desired:

    • Create Sisu transaction on BoomTown category changes—If you enable this setting, new transactions will be created in Sisu whenever you change a lead category to one of the categories specified in the setting below. This setting also allows for Sisu transaction statuses to be updated when you change the lead category in BoomTown.

      • Create Sisu transactions on BoomTown category change—This drop-down allows you to specify whether new transactions will be created on either "hot," "pending," "qualify," "nurture," or "watch." For this setting to function, you must enable the setting above ("Create Sisu transaction on BoomTown category changes").

    • Create and update Sisu transactions from BoomTown to-do's—When this setting is enabled, Sisu transactions are created or updated when you complete the following actions in BoomTown:

      • Creating a Meeting To-do

      • Completing a Meeting To-do

      • Completing a Showing To-do

    • Create a BoomTown transaction from a Sisu transaction—When this setting is enabled, a transaction is created in BoomTown when a transaction in Sisu gets to a status of Pending.

    • Block setting UC date/status from BoomTown—Do you have the setting "Create Sisu transaction on BoomTown category changes" enabled? If so, you can enable this setting to prevent changes from occurring in Sisu when you change the lead's BoomTown category to "pend."

    • Block setting Closed date/category from BoomTown—Do you have the setting "Create Sisu transaction on BoomTown category changes" enabled? If so, you can enable this setting to prevent changes from occurring in Sisu when you change the lead's BoomTown category to "close."

  7. Click Finish. This turns on the BoomTown integration with Sisu.

Reconfiguring Your Settings after Setting Up the Integration

If you've already configured your BoomTown integration, you can still make changes to the settings by doing the following:

  1. From the Sisu Marketplace, click the BoomTown tile.

  2. In the top-right corner of the screen, click Reconfigure.

  3. Make any desired changes to your configuration settings.

  4. Click Save at the top of the screen.

Sisu Activities Specific to BoomTown

When the setting Create Sisu lead measure activities from BoomTown usage is enabled, we will automatically track the following custom Activities in Sisu:

These Activities will be set to display in Sisu by default, and they can only be updated via the BoomTown integration. If desired, admins can hide these Activities by going to Admin > Team Settings > Activities.

These BoomTown Activities will appear in the following places in Sisu:

  • Leaderboards

  • Team and personal dashboards

  • Team and personal snapshot displays

  • The Goals Screen (Account > Goals)

Using the Sisu "Contact URL" Field to Open BoomTown Lead Profiles

As soon as you enable the BoomTown integration, you can add a field called BoomTown Contact URL to any form. This field isn't added to your Sisu forms by default. When agents open a Sisu transaction that originated from BoomTown, they'll be able to use this field to open the corresponding BoomTown Lead Profile in another tab.

How do admins add this field to a form?

The BoomTown Contact URL isn't added to your forms by default. You will need to add it manually. For help adding fields to a form, check out this article in our Knowledge Base.

How do agents use the field once it's been added to a form?

  1. Open a transaction in Sisu that originated from BoomTown.

  2. In the menu on the left, select a form that contains the BoomTown Contact URL field.

  3. Scroll down to the field. You'll see a URL in the field. Click the button to the right of the field, and the contact's BoomTown Lead Profile will open in another tab.

Will the field still work if I don't add it to a form right away?

Yes! We store each BoomTown URL even though the field isn't being used.

Let's say you turn on the BoomTown integration, but you don't add this field to a form for a month. In that time, 10 transactions came from BoomTown to Sisu. When you add the field to a form, you'll still be able to use it to link to each transaction's BoomTown Lead Profile.

Will this field work for transactions created before the January 18th release?

Unfortunately, not. This link will only work for transactions created in Sisu after January 18, 2023.
