How do buyer/seller leads in BoomTown integrate with Sisu?

Sometimes leads in BoomTown will be a buyer and a seller. The way they integrate with Sisu depends on how many agents are assigned.

--Buyer/Seller Leads with 2 Different Agents--

In this scenario, there’s an agent assigned to the Buyer Agent field and the Listing Agent field.

This scenario is ideal because this allows the buyer’s side and seller’s side to create separate transactions in Sisu. These transactions are both linked to BoomTown, and they can each progress at a different pace.

--Buyer/Seller Leads with 1 Agent--

In this scenario, the same agent is assigned to the Buyer Agent field and the Listing Agent field.

This scenario isn’t ideal because it only allows for a single transaction to be created in Sisu. This single transaction might be labeled as a buyer's side transaction, but it might be labeled as a seller's side transaction. You can duplicate this single transaction in Sisu, but it won’t be connected to BoomTown.

Integrating Lead Source Data from BoomTown to Sisu

This section is only going to explain how new transactions in Sisu (coming from BoomTown) affect lead sources in Sisu. If you want to know everything that happens when a new transaction is created in Sisu, see the section of this article called BoomTown Processes that Affect Sisu Transactions.

--Action in BoomTown--

  1. Go to a Lead Profile in BoomTown and make sure that a lead source has been entered.

  2. Perform an action in BoomTown that causes a transaction in Sisu to be created.

--Results in Sisu--

  • If the new transaction has a lead source that hasn't been added to Sisu yet, it will be added under Admin > Lead Sources.

  • +1 to the Agent At Bat lead count

    • To see each agent's At Bat lead counts, go to Admin > Lead Sources. Then in-line with a lead source, click Counts and Expenses. At Bat lead counts are taken into account in various reports as well.

  • The lead source field is updated.

Using the Sisu "Contact URL" Field to Open BoomTown Lead Profiles

As soon as the BoomTown integration is enabled, a new field called BoomTown Contact URL will become available and admins will be able to add it to any form. Agents can open a Sisu transaction that originated from BoomTown and then use this field to open the corresponding BoomTown Lead Profile in another tab.

After this field is added to a form in Sisu, you can use it by doing the following:

  1. Open a transaction in Sisu that originated from BoomTown.

  2. In the menu on the left, select a form that contains the BoomTown Contact URL field.

  3. Scroll down to the field. You'll see a URL in the field. Click the button to the right of the field, and the contact's BoomTown Lead Profile will open in another tab.
