Topics in this article:
Required Prerequisites
Complete these two steps before turning on the integration.
Login As Sierra Account Owner
You must log into Sierra as the Owner account (not just an admin).
The integration will not work with an admin-only login.Match Sierra Users to Sisu Users
The integration matches users based on name and email. If a Sierra user does not match a user in Sisu:
They will not be mapped.
Their data will not sync via the integration.
Before proceeding, confirm that your users exist in Sisu, and the user names and emails match in both systems.
Part 1: Create Tags in Sierra
The Sierra integration uses lead tags to trigger actions in Sisu. Depending on the tag applied, you can:
Create transactions
Move transactions through pipeline statuses
Give conversation credit to agents
Create transactions with the Appt Set By (ISA) field automatically completed
Creating Tags in Sierra
Log in to Sierra Interactive.
Navigate to Leads > Lead Tags.
Click Add Lead Tag.
Enter the name of one of the integration tags listed below.
(Optional) Select a category, add a description, or choose a color.
Click Submit.
⚠️ Important: Tag names must match the values below exactly, including spelling and spacing. Parentheses ( ) and brackets [ ] are interchangeable. For example, (B) Pipeline and [B] Pipeline will both work.
→ Pipeline Tags
These tags correspond to Sisu pipeline statuses. The Pipeline tag creates a new transaction, while the remaining tags move the transaction through Sisu statuses.

(B) Pipeline | (S) Pipeline |
(B) Appt Set | (S) Appt Set |
(B) Appt Met | (S) Appt Met |

(B) Offer | (S) Offer |
(B) UC/Pending | (S) UC/Pending |

| (S) MLS Live Listings |
→ Conversation Tags
Use these tags to log conversations in Sisu:

ISA tags must include both the ISA's first name and their Sisu User ID. The Sisu user ID can be found in the User ID column in Admin > Users.

→ Activities
Track Activities from Sierra to Sisu - Enable to sync activities the following activities from Sierra to Sisu:
Sierra Conversations
Sierra Calls
Sierra Emails
Sierra Texts
Sierra Showings
Sierra Offers
Update Sisu Activities for the following Sierra Lead Statuses - All is selected by default. Click the Add Value button
to select specific Sierra lead statuses that should send activity updates to Sisu. For example, if you only want activities from leads in the New and Qualify statuses to update Sisu, select those statuses from the dropdown menu.⚠️ Important Note: If you limit activity updates to specific lead statuses, the activity counts on your Sisu Dashboard may not match the totals shown in Sierra's Call Accountability report.
Sierra Call Activities to Sync - Click the Add Value button
to select the Sierra call activities you want to sync to Sisu. Each activity added to this list will create a corresponding activity in Sisu (for example, Sierra: Left Message) and sync those activity counts to the agent's Sisu dashboard.⚠️ Important Note: This setting does not affect the Sierra Dials activity. Sierra Dials are tracked separately and will sync regardless of the activities selected here.
Count "Talked to Prospect" and "Appointment Set" call types as Sisu Conversations - Enable to increment the Conversations activity in Sisu when the following call outcomes are selected in Sierra:
Talked to Lead
Talked to Lead and Scheduled a Buyer Appt
Talked to Lead and Scheduled a Listing Appt
Increment Inbound Calls - Enable to increment the Inbound Calls activity in Sisu when inbound calls occur in Sierra.
→ Transactions Configuration
Create Transactions From Call Outcomes - Enable this setting if you want a Sisu transaction created when the following logged call outcomes occur in Sierra:
Talked to Lead and Scheduled a Buyer Appt
Talked to Lead and Scheduled a Listing Appt
⚠️ Important Note: If you have automations that auto-apply appointment set tags to leads after a call outcome, we recommend disabling this setting. If you have both enabled, you can get duplicate transactions in Sisu.
Sync Custom Sierra Tags to Sisu - Enable to allow non-integration Sierra tags to sync to Sisu. When a tag is applied to a Sierra lead the tag is automatically selected in the Tags field in the Sisu transaction.
⚠️ Important Note: If a lead in Sierra Interactive is associated to 2 transactions in Sisu (a buyer and a seller), we won't know which transaction the tag should apply to. In this case, we can't sync the tags.
Sync Sisu Tags to Sierra - Enable this setting to automatically sync tags from Sisu to Sierra. When a tag is applied to a transaction in Sisu, the same tag will be added to the corresponding lead in Sierra.
⚠️ Important Note: For this setting to work, the non-integration tag lists in Sierra and Sisu must match exactly. Tag names, spelling, and spacing must be identical in both systems. We recommend enabling Sync Sierra Tags to Sisu so your Sierra tags are automatically created in Sisu, reducing the risk of mismatched tags. Afterward, manually add any remaining Sisu-only tags to Sierra.
→ Lead Sources
Update "Counts and Expenses" Report - Enable to increment the Lead Source total lead count in Sisu when a new lead is added in Sierra. This setting does not affect At Bat numbers.
Increment At Bats - Enable to increment the Lead Source At Bats in Sisu when a lead is assigned to an agent in Sierra.
Click Finish
to activate the integration. 🚀
