Creating a New Loop from a Sisu Transaction

Follow these steps to create a Loop from a transaction that does not have a Loop linked to it.

  1. In Sisu, go to Transactions > Transactions.

  2. Click in-line with a transaction that is NOT linked to a Loop. This opens the transaction. (If you want to create a new transaction, you can click the plus icon in the top-right corner of the Transactions screen.)

Note: After the transaction opens, look for the Create Loop button on the right. This means you're in the right kind of transaction.

  3. Make sure the transaction has the following info:

    • Agent name

    • First and last name of the client

    • Transaction type (buyer or seller)

  4. On the right side of the transaction, click Create Loop.

  5. In Dotloop, refresh the page to see your new loop appear. This loop is linked to the Sisu transaction.

Note: To see which details pass from Sisu to Dotloop, see the section below called All Loop Fields Mapped to Sisu Fields.

Creating a Loop from a Transaction That's Already Linked to a Loop

If you have a transaction that is currently linked to a Loop, you can unlink the transaction and create a new Loop after making some changes. This is helpful, for example, when you want to create a new Loop for a new written offer.

  1. Go to Transactions > Transactions.

  2. Click in-line with a transaction that is currently linked to a Loop. This will open the transaction.

Note: After the transaction opens, you can be sure that the transaction is linked if you see the "Create New Loop" button on the right.

  3. Make any changes you'd like to the Transaction Overview.

  4. Click Create New Loop.

  5. In Dotloop, refresh the page to see your new loop appear. The new Loop contains all the most recent updates to the Sisu transaction, while the old Loop remains the same.

Note: To see which details pass from Sisu to Dotloop, see the section below called All Loop Fields Mapped to Sisu Fields.

Creating a Loop with a Template Applied

If you'd prefer to watch a short video of the process outlined in this section, click here. Otherwise, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to Transactions > Transactions.

  2. Click in-line with a transaction to open it.

  3. In the menu on the left, click Dotloop Integration Info.

  4. Click the Tags field and select the template you want to use from the list that appears.

Note: We create a tag for each of your Loop templates. If you don't see any Loop template tags, your team is not using Loop templates.

  5. Click Update.

  6. On the right side of the transaction, click Create Loop.

Note: If the transaction is already linked to a loop, the button will say "Create New Loop." In this case, clicking the button will unlink the transaction from the current loop and create a new loop.

  7. In Dotloop, refresh the page to see your new loop. All tasks and documents associated with the template are applied.

Opening Your New Loop Directly from Sisu

  1. In Sisu, go to Transactions > Transactions.

  2. Click in-line with a transaction to open it.

  3. In the menu on the left, click Dotloop Integration Info.

  4. Click the button to the right of the Dotloop Permalink field. This opens Dotloop (and the corresponding Loop) in a new tab.

All Loop Fields Mapped to Sisu Fields

When you create a new Loop from Sisu, the Sisu transaction and new Loop are linked, and information is pulled from Sisu into Dotloop in order to fill in Loop details. This section shows which Sisu fields send over information to Dotloop fields.

⚠️ *IMPORTANT*: After the Loop is created, the connection between Sisu and Dotloop allows you to pull documents from Dotloop into Sisu. But at this time it does not allow for data to pass between Dotloop and Sisu after the Loop is created.
