Linking an Existing Loop to a Sisu Transaction

If you’re just setting up the Dotloop integration, you likely have Sisu transactions that you want linked to a corresponding Loop in Dotloop. To link an existing Loop to a Sisu transaction, complete the following steps:

  1. In Sisu, go to Transactions > Transactions.

  2. Click in-line with the transaction that you want to link to a Loop. This opens the transaction.

  3. Click the Link Existing Loop button. This opens the Link Loop window.

Note: The Link Loop window pulls up a list of the 100 most recently updated Loops that match the transaction type (buyer/seller). Archived Loops won't be included.

  4. Click the drop-down and select a Loop from the list.

Note: Don't see a particular loop in the list? Go to the loop in Dotloop, and make sure the "Transaction Type" and "Loop Status" fields are filled in.

  5. When finished, click Link.

How “Link Existing Loop” Determines Which Loops to Return

When linking loops, the system uses the Auth/Profile ID based on the selection made in the Create Loops As setting within the integration configuration.

The profile ID used depends on your selection:

  • Transaction Agent - Uses the Auth/Profile ID of the agent assigned to the transaction.

  • Single User - Uses the Auth/Profile ID of the specific user selected.

  • TC - Uses the Auth/Profile ID of the TC assigned to the transaction.

Once selected, the system will return all loops that are associated with that specific profile ID.

If you do not see an expected loop:

  1. Open the loop in Dotloop.

  2. Make a small update (for example, edit and save).

  3. Return and check again.

This refresh can help ensure the loop is properly associated and returned.
