Since Sisu doesn’t have access to the kvCORE's APIs, we're using API Nation's integrations with Google Sheets so you can pass leads from kvCORE into Sisu. In order for this to work, 2 separate integrations need to be enabled from API Nation. Follow the steps below for help setting everything up. There is a cost associated with both integrations:

  • $15/month for the kvCORE > Google Sheets integration

  • $99/month for the Google Sheets > Sisu integration

Before you begin...

ℹ️ Note

If you'd rather watch a video rather than read through the steps, feel free to skip down to the Video Tour section at the bottom of this article. Just be aware that there are details related to specific steps included in the written documentation. It could be helpful to skim through the written steps either before or after watching the video so you don't miss out on these extra details.

Part 1: Set up the "kvCORE to Google Sheets" Integration

  1. Go to API Nation.

  2. Click the kvCORE tile. This takes you to a list of apps that kvCORE integrates with.

  3. Click the Google Sheets tile.

  4. In-line with the kvCORE people to Google Sheets Spreadsheet option, click Activate. This opens the integration setup screen.

  5. Click Connect. This prompts you to log into kvCORE.

  6. Follow the prompts to log in to kvCORE.

  7. When you've connected to kvCORE, you can then click Connect to connect to Google Sheets.

  8. Follow the prompts to connect to Google Sheets. Eventually, this will take you to the Review Settings and Start Sync screen.

  9. Do NOT enable the Sync all contacts on first run checkbox.

  10. In the Google Sheets section, enter a Sheet Name.

  11. Click Subscribe.

  12. Don't create any filters. We recommend creating these during Part 3 of this article (which will help you set up the Sisu > Google Sheets portion of this integration).

  13. If desired, you can edit the Mapping section to specify what information you want passed into the Google spreadsheet.

  14. Click the Activate Sync button at the top of the screen.

Part 2: Get the "kvCORE to Google Sheets" URL

  1. Log into API Nation.

  2. Click My Syncs.

  3. Select your kvCORE to Google Sheets Workflow to open the Workflow's page.

  4. On the Workflow's page, click the Activate Sync button at the top of the screen.

  5. On the Workflow's page, click the Logs option at the top of the screen.

  6. Click the log that says, Workflow Execution complete, data successfully transferred.

  7. Copy the Google Sheets URL and paste it somewhere you can easily find it. You'll need this URL later on in the setup process.

Part 3: Set Up the "Sisu to Google Sheets" Integration

  1. Log into API Nation.

  2. Click on Apps at the top of the screen.

  3. Search for Sisu in the Search Apps box and then click the Sisu tile. This takes you to a list of apps that Sisu integrates with.

  4. Click on the Google Sheets tile.

  5. In-line with Google Sheets Spreadsheet to Sisu transactions, click Activate. This opens the integration setup screen.

  6. Connect to a Google Sheets account.

    1. If you already have connected Google Sheets accounts, select an account and click Select.

    2. If you do not have any currently connected Google Sheets accounts, click Connect to set up a new account connection.

  7. After connecting to Google Sheets, click Connect to connect to a Sisu account. This opens the Connect to Sisu pop-up.

  8. In the Label field, enter the desired name you want to give this connection in API Nation.

  9. In the Authorization field, enter your authorization code from Sisu's API Credentials screen.

📖 Note: If you need help accessing your API credentials in Sisu, check out this article in our Knowledge Base.

  10. Click Connect in the pop-up. This leads you to the Review Settings and Start Sync screen.

  11. In the Spreadsheet URL field, enter the URL you got from Part 2 of this article.

  12. Make sure the Do not overwrite information checkbox IS checked.

  13. Enter an email for Default Agent Email Address in the textbox provided.

Note 1: The integration will first try to match an agent using a primary email. If it can’t find a match, it then looks at alternate email addresses. If it still can’t find a match, the integration will use the email entered here.

Note 2: If your kvCORE user email addresses don't exactly match the email addresses in Sisu, log into Sisu and use the Sisu chat bubble in the bottom-right corner for help. We'll add alternate email addresses for each agent so the integration functions properly.

  14. Click Subscribe to start the integration workflow.

  15. Set up filters and field mapping.

📖 Note: For help setting up filters and mapping, check out steps 13-16 of this article from API Nation.

  16. Click the Activate Sync button at the top of the screen.
