The Transaction Stages Board is a place for you to create custom swim lanes to manage your transactions from contract to close or listing to close. In our recruiting platform, these can be stages of recruiting or onboarding.

This board view empowers you to drag and drop a transaction/agent to a new stage as they work towards completion. Click on the card to drop into the transaction task section directly. This is the easiest way to see all your pending or live listing transactions in a single view.

In order to get the Transaction Stages Board up and running, complete the following processes to make sure your stages, tags, and dates are set up.

Topics in this article:

Customizing Transaction Stages

By default, there are 7 sample stages that you can use to take a transaction from contract to close (or even pre-contract or post closing). If these stages make sense for your workflows, keep them. Otherwise, you can edit, remove, or add additional stages as you would like to see them in the platform. Once you have them added, sort them in the appropriate order of your workflows, and feel free to adjust the colors!

To customize the name, color, or order of your transaction stages, do the following:

  1. Go to Admin > Tasks.

  2. In the menu on the left, click Transaction Stages.

  3. Do any of the following:

Adding a New Stage

  1. In the Add Stages section, enter the name of your new stage.

  2. Click the Color (Hex Format) field, and select a color.

  3. Click Add. The new stage appears in the list of stages below.

Changing the Order of Your Stages

To rearrange your stages, drag and drop them in the order want.

Making Changes to a Stage

  1. In-line with a stage, click Edit.

  2. Make any desired changes to the fields.

  3. Click Update.

Customizing Transaction Tags

Tags are something you can create to provide additional ways to keep track of different items within a transaction. For example, when you're still waiting for the agent/team to get paid, you could include the tag "Waiting on Payment."

Adding Dates to the Transaction Stages Board

Admins can also select up to 6 dates (like "1st Time Appt Met" or "Under Contract") to appear on the Transaction Stages Board cards. You can set these dates up by doing the following:

  1. Go to Admin > Team Settings.

  2. In the menu on the left, click Transaction Stages Board.

  3. Click the checkboxes to enable the dates you want to appear on each card.
