What does it mean to give away Dashboard credit?
When you give away Dashboard credit for a rental or a referral, the transaction itself (including its status and its relevance to any of your averages) is no longer counted in Sisu's data, which appears on the Dashboard and the Transactions screen. However, the money brought in by the transaction will still apply toward your total GCI and your total volume.
How do I give away Dashboard credit for rentals and referrals?
To quickly give away Dashboard credit for a rental or referral, either the Rental field or the Outbound Referral field must exist in a transaction's form and it must be set to Yes.
Note: If you're an admin or TC and you need help adding either of these system fields to a form, check out this article in our Knowledge Base.
To change the Rental or Outbound Referral field, do the following:
Go to Transactions > Transactions.
Click on a rental or referral transaction.
In the menu on the left, click the form that contains either of these fields.
Navigate to either the Rental field or the Outbound Referral field and set it to Yes.
Scroll to the bottom of the form and click Update. This automatically gives away Dashboard credit for the transaction.
Note: While the transaction is not counted toward units on the Dashboard, it IS counted toward volume statistics. If you don’t want the rental/referral to count toward volume, we recommend you put the actual price in the notes instead of in the "Transaction Amount" field.
